Duncan James Aldridge banks The Chub Common twice on Baitcraft Insecta.

Baitcraft Field Tester Duncan James Aldridge is having a fantastic 2020 season, despite what is happening away from the bank.

Armed with all-new Baitcraft Insecta (again) Duncan managed to ‘recapture’ the well documented, lady of the Lee Valley, The Chub common at a huge 49lb 10oz from Abbotts Lake. A fish every angler wouldn't mind recapturing.

Duncan fished a slip-d rig over a large bed of Insecta 15mm and 12mm boilies along with a good helping of particle mix. Once again, the big common fell for an Insecta hard hooker, fished snowman style utilising an Insecta cork dust wafter. This was presented at sixteen and a half wraps over twenty-five large spombs of bait.

A growing favourite among our team members, Duncan had the take under the magnificent glow of an Autumn rainbow which came just before the rod burst into life and disappeared soon after netting this awesome fish, there is gold at the end of a rainbow! The Chub has now slipped up twice to this amazing bait.
